With AVSL at Knox and Aberfeldie, and Little Aths Regionals on the same day, numbers were down, but, though we finished ninth, we could easily have finished fifth with a couple more athletes.

Alessia Wynne topped the state in all three events in WOP, scoring 1,389 points, ahead of Allegria Basile on 1,256, Campbell McLennan on 1,240, David Firth on 1,232, Lewis McLennan on 1,185 and Kim Peak on 1,117. It was Alessia’s first serious crack at the 400 metres!
Luca Scholes-Robertson was the only athlete scoring over 500 for his 800 metres with Matthew Parrott on the comeback breaking 11 seconds for his 100 metres with 499 and Christian Zampris scoring 497 for his 400 metres.
