In a first for the Doncaster Athletic Club, we are looking forward with great anticipation to our first ever online Annual General Meeting and Presentation night. Please join us on Saturday 26th of September at 7:00 pm. We will provide all Members a Zoom meeting invite closer to the date.
The Minutes from the previous AGM conducted 17 May 2019 and the Agenda for the upcoming AGM, 26 September 2020 have been sent to Members. If you require these documents, please contact our Secretary Darryl Kilmartin (secretary@doncasterac.org.au).
With one month until our Presentation Night and AGM we are seeking nominations for members who are interested in joining the DAC Committee for the 2020/21 season.
All registered Members are allowed to nominate for any of the following positions:
- President
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Registrar
- General Committee x8
Nomination forms have been sent to Members and if you wish to nominate please complete the form and send back to either President Campbell McLennan (president@doncasterac.org.au) or Secretary Darryl Kilmartin (secretary@doncasterac.org.au) prior to Saturday 19th of September 2020. No nominations will be accepted after this date. If you require a form, please contact Secretary Darryl Kilmartin.
In accordance with our Constitution, nominees must also be a registered Member of the Club prior to the AGM (Saturday 26th of September) otherwise the nominee will be ineligible for selection.
Very importantly, we would like to communicate with you the DAC fees for 2020-2021 Season.
Athletics Victoria (AV) membership fees have not changed, and package prices are currently undetermined due to the current suspension of competition due to COVID-19 restrictions.
We have not increased our DAC fees, and continue to offer free DAC membership to Junior athletes jointly registered with Little Athletics Victoria. Fees remain open to review and adjustment to take into account the situation as it evolves.
The Club continues to offer a Training membership for athletes wanting to use our facilities but not wanting to compete or are members of another club. Training members are not permitted to vote at the AGM.
The annual training membership fees are as follows:
Track only: $80 (discounted to $60 for current season)
Track and Gym $130 (must be accompanied by a DAC approved Gym coach to access Gym. Not currently available due to restrictions)

The 2019/20 Committee wish to thank you for your support through last season, and what has been a tough time over the last few months. We look forward to celebrating with you all at the upcoming AGM and Presentation night.
