Doncaster Newsletter
First week of the All Schools at Doncaster saw some impressive running from Doncaster athletes, competing for their schools. After the first weekend of competition, our athletes have won five gold, three silver and four bronze medals as well as several placings and personal best performances. This is a very positive sign of the progress our junior athletes are making and with this weekend’s competition to come, we anticipate more outstanding performances.

We would love to thank Volvo Doncaster for their contribution and partnership, and we are excited for what the future will bring.

AVSL Round 4 (Relays Round, Doncaster) information
Athletes wishing to compete in field events must pre-enter to ensure a place in their chosen field event. Pre-entries will likely open this Wednesday and fill up quickly.
Athletes competing in track events do not need to pre-enter as this will be done prior to the round and on the day. Relay teams will only be entered at Doncaster, Knox is the other venue, but we will not be entering relay teams for that venue.
For relay teams to be eligible to score points, athletes must have purchased either the AVSL/Max Package or must purchase an individual shield round 4 entry prior to Wednesday 6th. Athletes who attend and compete on the day can purchase a trial entry, however their relay team will not score points.
We will be submitting a rough number of relay entries based on interest and availability, relays that will be contested are 2x1500m, 4x100m, 4x200m, 2x800m, and mixed 4x400m, 8x100m and 4x800m walks relay.
